Boughton Surgery Charity Work During the Pandemic

This has been a year that none of us expected or wanted and one that has touched everyone in some way so the staff at Boughton Surgery have been carrying out charitable work alongside dealing with the pressures the COVID Pandemic.

In September Practice staff participated in a Dementia Walk raising £190 for the Alzheimer Society as the practice aims to become a dementia friendly practice. Then came October where the practice staff raised £120 for breast cancer by wearing pink for the day, December started with Elf Day still waiting for final total to be counted and then the proceeds are to be donated to Alzheimer Society. Finally the staff wanted to wear their Christmas jumpers at work to bring a bit of cheer in these tough times, so each staff member donated items of food which was boxed and taken to a local food bank to assist local people within the community.

From all the staff and doctors we would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and hopefully a better New Year.
